Volunteer Schedule

Starting a new homeschool enrichment program takes a lot of commitment from everyone involved. We’ll need help from parents at the beginning and end of every day we have classes. The chart below shows the days we need help, when you’ve committed to help, and when we still need help.

Auditorium Set Up
Every Wednesday and ever Friday morning at 8:30 a.m. the auditorium must be broken down for classes. This means that chairs will need to be stacked neatly to the side. We’ve requested that each family involved in Jackson Classical’s homeschool program volunteer to help with this. Doing so will have the dual benefit of teaching children the importance of service and controlling costs. You will need to arrive at the church by 8:30 a.m. on the days you’ve volunteered. Please sign up for 5-6 times.

Afternoon Clean Up
Since we are guests in the church facility we’re using, we need to teach our children to show respect to our hosts by leaving the building better than we find it. At the end of each day we need to clean the restrooms, empty the garbage, vacuum and reset the church sanctuary. Clean up can begin immediately after the school day ends [at 2:00 p.m.] Please sign up for 5-6 times.
